Valeria is pursuing her PhD in human rights and global politics at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa. She holds a MSc in social policy and development from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in international relations, University of Roma Tre. Corrado Fumagalli

Corrado Fumagalli


Founder and CEO

Corrado graduated from the Londond School of Economics and the University of Milan with master's degrees in Political Theory and Philosophy respectively. He is currently a Phd candidate in Political Studies at the University of Milan and an affiliated member of the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies in New Delhi. Sudheesh Ramapurath Chemmencheri graduated from the London School of Economics and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras with master's degrees in Social Policy and Development Studies respectively. He is currently pursuing a DPhil in International Development  at the University of Oxford. In the past he has worked on projects related to social policy, indigenous rights and gender through internships at institutions like the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), UNICEF India and Sustainability Centre Bremen.

Navika Harshe

Navika Harshe is Senior Manager, Research and Program Management at Operation ASHA. She was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Chicago where she received her Masters in Public Policy. She also has a Masters in Economics from the University of Hyderabad. Prior to joining Operation ASHA she had worked with the federal government of India in both the Parliament and the Planning Commission.

Simone Marino

Simone Marino


Research Associate

Simone has an extended experience in socio-economic data analysis and policy design. He collaborates with the International Labour Organization (Geneva), and the DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion at the European Commission (Brussels). His recent research focus has been aimed in understanding and explaining the fundamental issues underlying the effect of Non-Standard Forms of Employment to firms’ economic performances and workers’ conditions. Simone holds a Research Degree in Social Policy from the LSE.  

Francisco Ceron

Francisco is a Ph.D. candidate at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR), University of Amsterdam. His Ph.D. research examines the social process in Chilean school system that generate inequality of educational opportunity over time. Previously he was a researcher and research coordinator at the National Assessment Office, Chilean Ministry of Education. He holds a master’s degree in social policy (research) from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master’s degree in sociology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Daniel Callies

Daniel Callies


Research Associate

Daniel Callies is a Predoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School in the Belfer Center's Science, Technology, and Public Policy Program. He is also a PhD candidate in Political Science at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, and a Predoctoral Researcher at Goethe University's Cluster of Excellence “Normative Orders.” His dissertation addresses moral and political concerns surrounding climate change—specifically the group of technologies known as “geoengineering.” He studied philosophy at San Diego State University where he was awarded his BA in 2008 and his MA in 2012. His research generally focuses on normative and applied ethics, global justice, and climate justice.

Silvia Elena Meza is former Director of Evaluation and Monitoring at the Mexican Ministry of Social Development. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from El Colegio de Mexico and is a specialist in Social Policy design. She has extensive experience in evaluation of social policies related to poverty, women, vulnerable groups and NGOs.

Jamelia Harris

Jamelia Harris

Jamelia Harris graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Scienc with an MSc. in Economics and from the University of Southampton with a BSc. in Economics and Actuarial Science. Jamelia has worked as an Economist in Sierra Leone under the Overseas Development Institute Fellowship Scheme, as lecturer at Fourah Bay College;  a Research Assistant at the University of the West Indies, and consulted on various projects. She is now reading for a DPhil in International Development at the University of Oxford, where her research focuses on labour markets in developing countries.

He has worked extensively across Africa, Asia and Europe for organisations such as United Nations, Thomson Reuters, Médecins Sans Frontières, the BBC and Save the Children.

Margherita Ciceri

Margherita Ciceri


Project Officer (A-id x SDGs)

Margherita holds a master's degree in International affairs and Diplomacy, University of Bologna and a BA in Languages and Cultures of South Asia, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Her studies included an extensive period of research at the School of Oriental and African studies in London. She is currently part of a research and training program managed by the KIP International School and the Ministry of Local Governance, Development and Territorial Planning of Senegal. In the past she has worked with Italian and Indian governmental institutions.

Eileen recently graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science where she holds a master’s degree in International Relations. Prior to this, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Political Science at McGill University in Montreal. Her research generally focuses on gender and human rights, and conflict and peace building.
