Understanding the purpose and relevance of education for human development and economic, social and environmental sustainability requires high-quality policy-oriented research. We aim to contribute to the global effort to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. All people, especially those in vulnerable situations, irrespective of age, race, sex, colour, ethnicity, religion, language, national or social origin, should have access to inclusive and quality education. Enhancing awareness of local demands and global targets, our work focuses on inclusion and equity, as well as sociological and economic evidence on equitable primary and secondary education.
